A muffaletta stacked high with Italian meats, provolone, and olive relish. God I could eat those every day.

I've become very fond of a grilled potabello mushroom sandwich I do on the George Foreman Grill. Just toss some olive oil and various but appropriate spices into a bowl with the mushroom and some peppers(red, green, yellow, whatever) some red onions and let them grill for about 10 minutes. Throw it ontoa nice hunk of Foccacia bread witha little Asiago cheese(although any cheese will do)....mmmm that's good eatin!

I'm from Philadelphia and we have two famous sandwiches:
the Philly Cheesesteak and the Hoagie. The cheesesteak is thinly sliced beef fried on a large grill and dressed with onions, cheese (or cheese whiz!) and any other condiments you care to add. The Hoagie is a cold, submarine-style sandwich made with a variety of deli meets, onions, tomatoes, oregano, peppers. There are dozens of choices at most Hoagie shops.
