I don't like poems like that. I am a passionate Christ follower and I think it misleads non-Christian people to think we walk with our heads in the clouds. I have never had a tougher life than the walk following Christ.
God doesn't answer prayer in the way shown by this poem. In fact, I find His answers seem to come in a way that requires my willingness to be humble and content with His will. I find this walk to be more of a challenge than anything I've ever done.
The only thing that makes it worthwhile is the constant companion I have. Good thing too, cause while I feel like more of a man walking this path, I don't think I could do it alone.
So do me a favor, don't paint flowers for people regarding God. He's no flower.
