People can only stand being nice to others and giving to charity for a few days out of a year! While there is a major increase in the economy during the good will holiday season due to gift giving, the economy is also geared towards a dog eat dog world and relies upon this cut throat nature of making war not love to generate fortunes for the powerful, so its due to economics, the policies of greed, anger and stupidity

It really should be a day to day all year round season of goodwill....But you know the stresses of daily life and the cares and all the things that life holds we tend to forget.I think christmas is a time when it gets people in the mood to show how much they care....I have come up with a great idea for everyone and if they would do it the goodwill could go on all year...You know the people that we are around tend to rub off on us, so if one person decides to be kind, loving around their friends ans family, just one person,it can stir up all the others to do the same, you can really make an impression on a lot of people that you are around if just one person would practice this..don,t you agree?

I wish it was, but I see the season as a gift from God. His gift is for others to have a great, fuzzy feeling when they give something to someone they know or don't know. But, since we're humans, some choose to reject the gift. So let's use God's gift wisely and love every minute of this great season!

It should be. For SOME people it's way of life...but if you had to find them in a crowd, I'd say it's one out of 100.
People put on airs for the rest of the year...and seem to just show their "best side" during the holidays...only because they will be seen for their true selves if not...so as to why? Because most really don't mean it...if they did it would be a way of life all the time.
That said there are plenty of good people in the world...you just have to seek them out.

People are too lazy to make the effort. All it takes is a smile and a friendly greeting, and an attempt to understand those who are different.
By the way, Gringo only refers to Americans. I'm British, and Mexicans don't call me "Gringa".

Since it is kinda expensive. :)
We be ourselves for most part of the year, and the last two three weeks of the year we put up a (genuine) mask over our face.
