WASHINGTON -- President Bush prepared the nation yesterday for a "long struggle" against enemy forces in Iraq and around the world and said more US troops would be needed to confront the global terrorist threat.

Breaking News Alerts The president, who is reexamining Iraq strategy in the face of plummeting popularity for both the war and his handling of it, gave no details of a new approach expected to be announced after the holidays. But his remarks were laden with uncharacteristically gloomy assessments of the situation in Iraq and predictions that the battle against terrorists worldwide would be lengthy and difficult.

unfortunatley for us, bush has been able to use the terrorist card & the war in iraq to his advantage by diverting attention away from his inability to run a country. he has never had any "mojo", statesmanship or leadership skills. he banked on our ability to galvanise as a nation & come together in times of crisis & forget about the poor job he was doing on the home front. now he realises we see the mess he has made of this country & he is running scared.

Bush lost the two wars. the reason the Taliban controls maximum of Afghanistan is that Bush deserted the war against the individuals who surely attacked us on 9/11 to pursue his insane vendetta against Saddam Hussein, and that they have got had over seven years to construct themselves returned up. Obama found out the lesson that Bush did no longer study: If Osama bin weighted down remains alive, and al-Qaeda remains working, you flow after them and you do no longer give up till they're stopped. Bush would not deserve credit for something, with the obtainable exception of arising a technology of Democratic government obtainable. If Bush HAD gained in Iraq and Afghanistan, what threat could Obama have had? As Leonard Nimoy could say, this is easy good judgment.

HE SAID EXACTLY THE SAME THING FIVE YEARS AGO AND THE DEMOCRATS SIGNED UP FOR IT AS THEY DID THREE YEARS AGO ABOUT IRAQ. OF COURSE NOW THEY HAVE CHANGED THEIR MINDS AND DON'T THINK THIS IS SUCH A GOOD IDEA BECAUSE IT ACTUALLY WILL CAUSE LOSS OF LIFE, TAKE SOME SACRIFICE, AND LAST A LONG TIME. SEEMS LIKE THEY ARE MORE CONCERNED ABOUT THE ELECTIONS THEN WORRYING ABOUT MOMMY AND DADDY GETTING BLOWN UP AT HOME. GO AHEAD...BRING EM ALL HOME....WE'RE GONNA NEED EM TO LINE OUR BORDERS. GOOD LUCK WITH THAT. THEN AFTER YOU DO THAT WE CAN WATCH THE ENEMY GET STRONG ENOUGH TO FIGURE OUT A WAY TO NEGATE ANY POWER WE DO HAVE LEFT AND ELIMINATE US EVENTUALLY. DON'T COUNT ON OUTSIDE HELP. THE WORLD HAS DICTATED THAT THAT IS OUR JOB SINCE MOST OF EM QUAKE IN THEIR BOOTS AT THE MENTION OF TERRORISM AND HOPES UNCLE SAM DOES THE JOB FOR EM. GO AHEAD...MAKE THEIR DAY.

Yes, oh thank goodness! It will take us at least 30 years to get our rights back to where the first founders wanted us to have them. Come on young ones - make this a wonderful country again!

If he has lost his mojo regarding those people who oppose the war, then he is listening to idiots! GWB will fight this war as long as this enemy is still out there, and if he doesn't we will be fighting these bastards on our own turf.
