the Ravens will beat the chargers, so everyone get off the chargers bandwagon. Phillip rivers has NO playoff expierience. all he does is hand it off to LT and the Ravens are a run stoppiing machine. Remember week 4? Lt had 98yds and NO tds. Marty Chokenhiemer will once again lose the big game because he's WAY too conservative-- again look at week 4. they had a win all but wrapped up, and they let the Ravens come back and take it from them. The ravens will stop the chargers running attack, and thier secondary may not be the best in the world but is QUITE exceptional nonetheless, which will slow the pass attack of the chargers when phillip rivers has to throw the ball because LT is virtually ineffective for the first game in months. And that is when the Ravens' pass rush will get to him because he will have to sit back in the pocket and wait for a receiver to get open. He cant dump it off to LT all day long, and the Ravens will be bringin it on just about every play. Not to say the chargers arent good (cuz they are) im saying that they're not quite at that level yet. Next year, who knows? But everyone has forgotten that the ravens' offense has been averaging 24.1 points a game since billick fired offensive coordinator Jim Fassel before the week 8 game vs. the saints. before then it was around 18.3 points per game.
But im sure no one that isn't from baltimore even knew any of that. No one is really giving the Ravens the credit -- or even the recognition or attention -- they deserve. But we're fine with that.
who will everyone root for when the chargers lose? Everyone thinks this team is unbeatable. theyre far from it. if you know ANYTHING about football and watch ANY of the games, you already know that the chargers are far from unbeatable.
I want EVERYONE on the Chargers bandwagon to think about everything i just said for a few minutes.
Now, then to the person who was asking who was going to the super bowl, heres what i think:
"Pack your bags Baltimore, the Ravens are going to the Super Bowl!"
Ravens and Bears.
A good matchup of defenses, but the Ravens have the talent to win.
have a happy holiday everyone.

Playoff Rundown:
AFC
WC Round
Bengals over Patriots- The Patriots are just too inconsistant and the Bengals are on fire lately.
Broncos over Colts- One of the best rush offenses in football against the worst run defense? Not to mention Cutler is playing great football now.
Div Round
Chargers over Bengals- Chargers, 'nuff said
Broncos over Ravens- Great D vs Great D, the difference maker here is the Broncos offense, which is more productive than the Ravens.
AFC Champ
Broncos over Chargers- Cutler has no figured out how to run an NFL offense, making him very dangerous. It will be an amazing game, LT is going to have another big game, but the Broncos D will shut down the passing game and then stack the line against LT late and stop the scoring. The Broncos are more balanced on offense than the Chargers so it will be tough for the Chargers to stop the run and the pass even with that great defense.
NFC
WC Round
Seattle over Phili- Seattle will have things turned around come playoff time, lets remember Hasselbeck and Alexander were both hurt a few weeks ago, timing doesnt just come back that easily, by playoff time the timing will be back and they'll be a force to reckon with
Dallas over Atlanta- Dallas is just too balanced for Atlanta to stop. Atlanta has no defense at all, and Mike Vick at QB is not going to cut it. Dallas will stack the line to stop the run, and Vick couldnt hit water if he fell out of a boat so the passing game will suck.
Div Round
Chicago over Seattle- Chicago has the best defense in the NFC, possibly in football. Their offense is starting to come together again after a few shaky starts by Rex. Seattle's defense has struggled and I think Rex will have a huge game
Saints over Dallas- same thing as a few weeks ago, Brees will rip the Dallas D apart
NFC Champ
Saints over Chicago- The Chicago D is hurt, so their best defense wont be the best, their starting safefty is out for the year and its unseen yet as to how the off-field problems of Tank Johnson will effect the team. The Saints offense is just too high powered. It'll be a hell of a shootout though.
SB
Broncos over Saints- the first real test for the Saints as they face an AFC defense, one of the best ones in the league. Look for Colston to have a big day against Darrent Williams because Joe Horn wont catch a single ball against Champ Bailey. The Broncos have the fasted LB corps in the league, so Reggie Bush will not be able to do anything. The Saints defense is good at best, and Cutler will have a huge game
SB MVP: Tatum Bell or Al Wilson

Which teams will make the best story line? That's all that matters, as evidenced through last years "Un-Super Bowl."
The NFL has gone the way of TNA, WWE, WWF, WEW, et al, and is no longer viable for my (and hopefully anyone else's) entertainment hour.

Chargers for the AFC unless by miracle some team is able to stop Tomlinson.
and for the NFC the Seahawks they have the playoff experience from last year and with the NFC how they are they have the best chance.
