I am not interested in his many character flaws, he is trying to make a difference. You do not have to be perfect to try to change things for the better, more play to his elbow. I like him.
Any reading this are welcome to disagree.

Bono certainly does seem to mean well... but we all have egos that can run wild.. for we are human. I know mine would run a bit wild if I wrote and sang on a few multi-platinum albums before the age of 40 and drew hundreds of thousands of people each concerts my band played.

My only criticism for the man is that he could focus a bit more on specific solutions rather than criticising systems that are in place. These flawed systems must have logical replacements before they are removed from our lives... otherwise things could be much worse than they currently are.

Moderation is key. Moderate ego. Modertate wealth. Moderate power.. only then can people treat one another like brothers and sisters.

yep, i have 2 disagree.
an honour knighthood 4 humanitarian grounds. right oh! it probably means a lot 2 him, but nothing 2 me.
why, if these stars have been raising money 4 various causes in Africa, r there still children dying of malnutrition and disease?
i will b surprised when & if, Bono ever stands up and refuses 2 take part in any more Charity performances, because the money raised is normally swallowed up by organisers, governments and corrupt officials, long b4 it makes it 2 a dying African!

What lots of crap. that's in basic terms an honourary knighthood as he isn't British yet please.... he would desire to purchase off the third international debt and function substitute to proceed living his lavish and petty existence style i.e. i % my hat back! he's terrific a conflict for an argument, rightly or wrongly, that should not be resolved by ability of our government. It makes him and the politicians look sturdy whilst evidently that they are doing some thing approximately it. returned, rightly or wrongly, it is going to in basic terms be whilst and if the individuals with an spectacular style of money who make lots of noise approximately poverty and so on dig somewhat deep into their wallet and end according to people incomes minimum salary and much less to furnish and supply, that the priority would be resolved. I have not any doubt that i would be nonetheless giving and wishing it may end mutually as Bono and his acquaintances are nonetheless charigng punters as much as £2 hundred to observe them rock.

Most of us common hard working stiffs with a Net worth under 1 million are Pheasants, sirfs, and scallywags. For your great question I have now decided to give you the honorary title of "DUKE".

Don't particularly like the guy, his music or the fact that he bangs on about changing things. I can't say that Iv've seen anything good that he has done

Now if he was to offer a percentage of his personal fortune to good causes then that might be a bit different

Still don't like his rubbish music

No, he preaches too much. When has he ever dipped into his own pocket and given to the third world. Besides, I am a strong believer in charity beginning at home. He should put his efforts towards children suffering in this country.

Bono. The world would be a better place without a guy who is so self opinionated, smug, anti-everything and has time to do the the thing most of us would like to do to help.
