The average body temperature of women is higher than men. That's why you need to be in a warmer place than men. I swear. I do not know how we stay together sometimes. It's like some kind of a sick joke.

You're right that women seem to feel the cold more. I think the muscle mass idea is right. Also, if men are bigger than women, they have more surface area to lose heat from in relation to their volume. Finally, women in my office often get around in skirts and tops, so they have more skin exposed; and they still complain about the cold even if they are not wearing much! Next question: why can't they get the air con in our building working properly, even though the repairman is here every second day?
