Not sure how this relates to cars.. maybe if you are rich you can buy whatever car you want.
Anyway rich and popular go hand and hand.
Because most people flaunt their wealth. Successful people tend to be magnets to all those who wish to succeed.
Also most rich people are confident and are not the least bit worried about going to bed hungry with nothing to eat.
Does this help you understand the rich and popular thing?

It doesn't necessarily make you popular, but it makes the loneliness a lot easier to take.
I don't know. It's likely you'll feel the same or worse because now they are ignoring you up close and personal.

Unfortunately, if you're rich it makes you very popular with other people who want to be rich, not people who are already rich.
As they say, people will love you for your money and not you.

no it just makes you rich. you may seem to be popular to the ones who want you to pay for everything. I think poor people know they are poor but that doesn't make them bad people same as wealth does not make someone good. (Ken Lay)

Unfortunately, yes. Doesn't make you smart, funny or interesting, but it will make you popular.

Yes, but it's popular with people whose values are topsy turvy.
