Are you more likely to do something if someone yells at you, or asks u nicely?

Fear is the stongest motivator. If the person yelling can actually cause fear, then I would comply. If not, then I would not.

Asks nicely I cant stand the yelling and I would not be able to concentrate doing any thing the persons asks me unless I was in the right mind

Asks me nicely but my mom used to always yell at everyone including me when we helped her out until I started paying attention to how to do things her way and now I don't get yelled at anymore and other people still do and they wonder why....

well i'm more likely to do something if someone yells at me but it more then likely will not be what the person want's me to do just to piss him/her off. if asked nicely i may do it, but if it's something i don't want to do then asking nice or yelling won't get you what you want in the end no matter what.

It depends on the person asking me and on the situation. I mean, if someone I don't know at all yells at me, I will probably tell her off. But if my mother has already asked me a hundred times to do something, I'd probably obey...
