When she has all these A list celebrities she seems all over the top, but when she's interviewing a regular person she seems very grounded and relatable. I do really admire her work. I just think sometimes she's not exactly the nicest person we think she is.

It's fanfare....hooplah for the big stars who would feel slighted if Oprah DID NOT make a big deal of it.
Being on Oprah probably good media exposure.
And that means a lot.
Better than flashing for Entertainment Tonight.
Can't have balloons dropping from ceiling when guest has tragic story.
The ability to "change hats" good trait.

I don't like her, I also think that she's fake, but I have to admit she puts together a pretty good show (most of the time).
The one thing I hate about her most isthe way she gives away cars and things (and gets a lot of credit) and it's NOT from her own money! well she has more than enough, but still uses ebay and companies to pay for her charity!!

The only time she acted humble was when she was with Nelson Mandella. I admire her work too. She's a great asset to mankind.

i totally agree with you. she is a wonderful person but a bit of a chameleon when around stars. she is pretty into herself and into being rich and famous.

she is wicked fake. I never liked her. SHe's too "all my celebirty friends " and blah. she really doesn't care about the people. Just her paycheck.
