I have no idea what the average is... When I was 26, I was living in my car! (for a short period of time!) Now, 9 years later... I'm worth several mil. Next year, I may be back in my car... Ya just never know!
I can't help to wonder why your asking this... I would assume that you are 26 y/o. If you are not comfortable with your income, keep your head up and keep bust'n your @ss! It will come!
If you already make a boatload of cash and want to compare to others, quit it!

It depends if the 26 year old has went to college and got a college degree. Or if the 26 year old has just gotten by or not even working. When i was only 19 I was making about 18,000 K a year.
