go live in SE Asia and you will see. i lived in Indonesia for the last two years and ONLY in the big cities will you even see toilet paper(which is a relatively new invention) it will take a little getting used to but there would be a lot more trees

Believe it or not toilet paper is a recent invention in the Western World. It came into fashion in the 1880's. The rest of the world does not share our need for toliet paper.

I see it the same, All people have to do is use Water because in Africa they don't have toilet paper and they use water

We'd either revert back to the mideval sponge on a stick or there'd be a bidet in every bathroom.
