In my lower back area (right above my @ss), it hurts. When I run i cant run straight anymore and it hurts when I move fast.

If you can't run or walk fast cause of back pain i would suggest that you go to physical therepy, or lay on your back and do leg lifts slowly

There are so many different conditions which can cause lower back pain. I have what is called "facet joint syndrome" where the discs are pressing against each other. But you need to find a good Pain Specialist. Tell them you want an MRI, if they don't suggest it. Be aggressive in your own treatment, or else it will get you nowhere. Some doctors are quick to prescribe nsaids (like advil) or offer injections, but think very carefully and get a second opinion before making a decision to use these therapies. I am on narcotic painkillers for my pain, but I had to go through 10! doctors to get this treatment. It will take patience, but if you have insurance, it is truly worth it.

Sounds like you might have pulled a muscle. Try a heating pad and an over-the-counter pain killer. Of course, you should see a doctor if the pain is severe or you think it may be something serious.

Rest and dont do anything sporty impact wise like runningto givr your back a chance to heal up.

have you gained any weight? if you have that can cause back pain.
