Are you asking how to go about this? I would call it "Jack of All Trades." You could have rules about having at least 3 hobbies that members must bring to the table. You could get together to have any members that, for example, do stamp collecting teach the rest of the club about it. Then, at the next meeting, you could have all the members that do sheep-shearing (hehe) teach the rest of the group how to do it. That way each of you would actually expand their list of hobbies! Fun!!!!!!!

I am really not sure what you are trying to get across to us. Most people in my hobby (coins), at least the ones that are true collectors, know their subject well. They usually pick an area and learn as much about it as possible. There is one group I guess you could call a "jack of all trades" they just accumulate coins with no goal to reach. They are interested in "more" and not learning about what they have. There is a big difference between a collector of coins and a numismatist. Maybe you should find one hobby and try to master it. It sure can help the ego when you accomplish your quest.

Me too i am a jack of all trades as well, but a master of none either. I can always make a mean ham sandwich, but i always screw it up when it comes to putting mustard on it.

You could put a add in your local paper suggesting starting a craft club and see if there is any interest. It also might be better if you became a master in one of your crafts, to enable you to become an instructor.
