I am in Lexington, Kentucky (USA) and I am not out because I just have way too much to do at home! Wrapping gifts is something my husband just will not do, so that job always lands on my shoulders. I am baking 5 different kinds of Christmas cookies with my daughter this afternoon and my laundry has piled up quite high recently since I have not done any for awhile due to shopping every spare moment I've had.

We really are having a laid back Christmas this year. No one invited us to any parties so we are going to keep it simple with the twins (age 7).

Merry Christmas to all of you! Enjoy this wonderous time of year!

You wouldn't believe how much baking I have to do! But have to go to the grocery store before that. Presents need to be delivered. Check on the horses, wrap a few more gifts. Much too busy to go out. Besides, if more Americans stay home and celebrate with a drink or two, they are safer.

I live in Spain, live alone and have very few friends. Think that 15 years here is enough, thinking of returning to the UK where Christmas seems like Christmas, and you never know Santa might just stay over when he calls!

Because we're all going out tomorrow night, Xmas Eve, to get plastered so that we feel like s**t at 5.30 in the morning as the kids are ripping open their presents!

Yup, if you like being spat at, swore at, punched, mugged, threatened, kicked, elbowed, drink thrown all over you, vomited on, asked to pay extortionate entrance fees on entry and purchasing your drink, then the U.K. is the place for you to enjoy a night out.
Plus you gotta run the gauntlet of the violent drunks and temperamental taxi drivers.
Yup! Enjoy your night out people.

Because my mates have to work. But it is good because I need to be off this computer and cleaning up my digs. But I am not mentally into it yet.
A Merrily joyous, barking mad, wickedly happy Christmas to everyone who celebrates!
