I'm 13 right now, and i currently have a fake lip ring because my parents and my school won't allow a real one. I was just wondering how old I'd have to be, in Colorado, to get it peirced w/o my mom signing anything.

most places require you to be 18 years old to get a body piercing other than your ears without parental consent. Every shop is different, so you should check the shops in your area. There is no law that sets the age limit, the shops themselves do.

You have to be 18 yrs. old w/o parental consent. Sorry. Although you can always find people who will do it for you, but it is not legal and it will not be at the mall or something it would be on the black market. Or you could do it yourself, it would just hurt more.

Annika dr., First think of the repurcussions of lip piercing.
Think of the infection that u might get from food or even
kissing. Plus the inconvenience that it may cause.
Fashions & fads come & go but the pierced portion will remain the same . So stick with fake lip ring only.
If after some years, it goes out of fashion , then what will u do with the gaping hole near yr lips ?? Think !!!!!!!!!!

18 unless you have parental consent. As others have said before please DON'T do it yourself. I do professional piercings and tattoo's for a living. You could make yourself bleed to death externally or internally.

depends where you go. some places you have to be 16 and above some places 18 and above.
