I clean my room but often get bored. Is there a way to make a game out of daily cleaning?

You've gotten some good advice on here already, but I thought I'd throw in a few extras. :)

-Music can be a great incentive to get up and get moving, I'd recommend keeping it positive though. Anything too dark with heavy lyrics may have the exact opposite effect you are looking for.

-Enlist the help of a friend via phone. I can tell you from my own personal experience that having someone to talk to makes the work go that much faster. Before you know it, it's done! Make sure you choose someone you trust and that will encourage you. Then, return the favor for them!

-Make a list of the things you want to get done and for each one you cross off, give yourself a little reward (a 5 min break, a piece of your favorite candy, etc.), you'll feel more accomplished and you are less likely to get overwhelmed or frustrated this way.

-Try to keep a positive outlook. Instead of "Man. Now I have to vacuum." Think "Great! Now I can finally get all those popcorn kernals cleaned up!"

I hope this helps you out. Good luck!

I don't know about making it a game. Even games get boring. But what could help is to make a firm rule for yourself that you never leave your room messy. Before you walk out your bedroom door, it has to be clean. This way you will clean it as you mess it. The mess will not build up.

In a hectic existence schedule like maximum folk have, the main suitable part of do is breaking the cleansing into distinctive areas. So the main suitable part of do is have distinctive packing containers, cabinets to place products which would be later prepared. as an occasion you ought to place all your grimy cloths in one bin which you ought to later %. to be washed and already washed cloths to a distinctive bin which you ought to later fold and cope with it on your cloth cabinet. All opened letters ought to bypass to a shelve which you ought to %. later and cope with into separate data or wreck if no longer needed and Unopened ones in yet another shelve the place you ought to bypass by way of them later. So somewhat, you're putting each thing into some place and it may't be the suited holiday spot of those products yet you get your place/room prepared and wiped sparkling mush speedier.

You could clean your room & play your favorite music.
You could time yourself & try to beat your time by doing it faster.
Or you can have a friend come help you & you can take turns cleaning your rooms together, that makes it more fun.
You can also reward yourself with a special treat when you've cleaned your room.
You could work something out with your parents who could help you with this special treat.

When I clean, I make sure there's nothing on that will distract me (TV) and I put on some music. I usually end up dancing around and windexing things lol

Turn on music and make a rythmic dance while you go about your daily routine. Works for me and I have LOTS to do with three kids!
