Here are some quotations from my collection:

Real joy comes not from ease or riches or from the praise of men, but from doing something worthwhile.
Sir Wilfred Grenfell

There is no greater joy nor greater reward than to make a fundamental difference in someone's life.
Sister Mary Rose McGeady

The ideals which have lighted my way, and time after time have given me new courage to face life cheerfully, have been Kindness, Beauty, and Truth. The trite subjects of human efforts, possessions, outward success, luxury have always seemed to me contemptible.
Albert Einstein

Focus on right NOW. Any pain or suffering (shows up as guilt, resentment, unforgiveness)that has happened to you that is shaping how you are feeling right now is the PAST. Any stress anxiety, tension and worry are forms of fear of the FUTURE. Live in the moment and wipe out thoughts of past or future and experience what is happening to you right now.
Also, live your life with compassion toward all others and stop focusing on your problems, but try to help others with theirs. Do for others and happiness will come. I have learned this from experience. However you do it, I hope that you achieve the greatest happiness!

It all starts in the early years when you are born to five years old. If you were raised properly, you should be happy for your entire life, of course, with all the bump, bruises, and disappointments mixed in. Yet overall if you were properly raised by your parents you should be happy in life.

having a variety of emotions, makes up life. you can never TRULY be happy when there are people starving in another continent, or people dying in wars. there's always something to bring you down. the best way to be happy is to try to help others and share their sorrow, as well as happiness.

happiness come from inside. it does not relate to phisical conditions. a man with all worldly things can be unhappy and a person in poor conditions can be happy. it is a mental stage. if we are satisfied with what we have, if we are not jealaus with others, if we belive that we are happy then it will definately lead us to the stage where we are actually happy.
