Well, compared to other dialects in the US, a slight southern drawl is indeed "cute" to me.I dated a girl from Ohio once and just loved how she spoke.Conversely,I have a deep voice that women like. So, why do they like it ??
Have you ever heard someone from Long Island NY, or the Boston area? Different dialect of the same language,(it is English isn't it? --- I'm kidding!), southern gets my vote for "cute".

most accents are sexy.

With the southern accent.... men sound like they are unintllegent.. EXAMPLE:

Hey Dwight, Move that truck down yonder so we can load 'er up.

The women sound DELICIOUS example:

Thank y'all for comin' on down here to see the show with me.

they sound so sweet... and the southern hospitality thing plays a lot into it.

It's actually rude for someone to comment about an accent. I always thought it was gauche to even bring it up.
