Can the grantor of a quit claim deed buy back the grantees' portions, in order to cover his living expenses?

Only if the Grantee permits it. I'm not sure how paying out money will cover the Grantor's living expenses, though.

You gave up your rights & now want to buy them back.

If the Grantee wants to sell their rights & you want to pay the price whats to stop it? As I see it nothing.

It would seem that a quit claim can give it back to you.
