Everyday I read some crap in the papers about us 'not allowing christmas decorations because it offends other religions' and the like.The PC train is way out of control and the PC brigade (you know who you are) need to shut up, things are getting laughable in this country.

MANY COUNTRIES HAVE "GONE DOWN THE PAN" AS THEY FOOLISHLY ATTEMPT TO DO AWAY WITH THE PRINCIPLES THAT THEIR COUNTRY WAS BASED AND BUILT UPON. TAKE THE USA FOR EXAMPLE. WE WERE BUILT UPON CHRISTIAN JUDEO BELIEFS, SO MUCH SO, THAT A CERTAIN REFERENCE WAS PUT ON OUR CURRENCY----IN GOD WE TRUST. OOPS SORRY, I'M SURE THAT SOMEBODY IS GOING TO BE UPSET BY THE G WORD. HEY WE WERE SMART ENOUGH TO REMOVE THE G WORD FROM ANY EDUCATIONAL SETTING AND LOOK HOW MANY SCHOOL DISRUPTIONS AND SHOOTINGS WE HAVE HAD. TAKING DISCIPLINE OUT OF SCHOOLS HAS ALSO HELPED. AT ONE TIME IT WAS SOMEWHAT APPROPRIATE TO BE MARRIED TO HAVE AND RAISE CHILDREN. NO MORE!!! HELL WE DON'T EVEN HAVE TO HAVE A JOB TO HAVE KIDS. WHY SHOULD WE WHEN WE NOW HAVE GOVERNMENT THAT WILL PROVIDE FOR THEM FINANCIALLY. WHAT A GREAT COUNTRY!!! AND WE ARE ALLOWING ANY AND ALL ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS TO STAY IN THIS COUNTRY AND TAKE ADVANTAGE OF FREE EDUCATION, FREE MEDICAL CARE, SUBSIDIZED HOUSING, ETC. WHAT A GREAT COUNTRY!!! AND IT'S ALL FREE. I concur wholeheartedly, i have one or two Asian friends and they are'nt bothered about us enjoying Christmas or anything else to do with Christmas as you said it's the PC brigade, so-called do gooders. Slightly off track here but i have on good faith the teacher with the veil thing in Dewsbury just down road from me only did it for the compensation. Merry Christmas to you and yours, come the revolution we'll show the PC lot.

Without a doubt this country has had it. We are afraid to British in Britain anymore - racism only works one way and people are resenting it. The PC crowd are causing more hatred and unrest than any extreme party ever could and with the borders opening up to ever more european joining countries - it can only get worse. They cant control immigration now - what will it be like in the New Year ???? xxxxxx

YES. I'm off to New Zealand in May/June 2007 and can't wait to go. In New New Zealand I can be paid more, taxed less, get on the housing ladder and not see all my tax and National Insurance contributions get thrown to the winds.

No, I'm not sure I do agree...
For the most part we are free to have our say.
Many of us have food in the larder, we spend money on luxuries.
Yes, a lot more could be done if money was spent in the right place.
We have gone too far, in that we give in too easily when our way of life is threatened.
If you talk to some of the people who have come to live in our country, even they, think things have gone too far on that score, so it's not their fault. It's the miss -guided bureaucrats.
Well, if people think the country has gone down the pan it's up to us to help put things right.
It's no use at all leaving it to others.
If you are not happy about something write to your mp and keep writing, until he gets off his butt and earns his money.
Most do, but they need our feedback. If they don't get it we can't moan ...

Ok...so can someone explain why in Dubai they have Christnmas trees and Carol conbcerts in the Hotels yet we cannot be seen to celebrate our own religious holidays in the Uk which is supposed to be a Christian Country. Many of my muslim friend cannot understand why it is deemed to be upsetting to them if we show our own religious icons... they have no problem with it..just the PC brigade...can wait to leave the Country....proud to be British? don't make me laugh...Blair has a lot to answer for.....

You are sooo right. It's like an April Fools joke everyday . Too daft to laugh at. They say things were hard 50/60 years ago but at least Great Britain WAS great and people were proud to be British and stood up for British principles. They didn't pander to political correctness and fall over backward to please those who should go elsewhere if they don't like it.
