I was thinking abvout everytime i get money put half of it in a crayon box and act like i never got it
what are some other ways
i don't want anything i just want some money to save up like when i go on trips i will have it to spend on things

Whenever you get money just don't spend it... keep out a certain amount for immediate expenses that may come up, and put some away for later. I never got an allowance when I was a kid so I held on to every penny I got, so that whenever we did actually go out on a family shopping trip or something I'd be able to buy myself something. Just remember that you're saving up, and try not to be tempted to buy junk you don't need =)

thats a good question... i have also figured out that putting it in a box and pretending that you don't have it doesn't help. sometimes if I know that I am going on a trip or something and I want to have money I just don't carry money with me until then. Then I can't spend it even if I want to!

I would put it in a savings account and earn some interest. Let your money do some work for you...eventually think about some mutual funds etc. Ask your parents as well.

well, you have a good idea. ,the other thing would be to open a saving account. When you deposit the mony and watch the account grow you wont want to spend it!!! Good Luck. Your parents shoule be proud of you!!!

put in an account....i usually just put it in my wallet and forget about it...and I'll find like 7- 20 bucks...yell ur parents to hold onto it for u...so u can't spend it til u really need to
