anything we cannot explain is scary. If it was violent acting I think I'd split. Some people (not me) would relish living in a haunted house.
Many times I have turned off my TV to have it pop back on again, that is not uncommon. Wait to see if anything else occurs. Moving can cost money.

If the house is scaring you then the best thing to do is move out. Most ghosts arnt harmful but some will hurt you most of the nasty ones just like to scare people. Possibly calling in a paranormal investigator or holding a seance to contact the ghost could get rid of it. Id recommend reading some books on the subject. Theres a very good ghost encyclopedia out there which could probably help you. I'm not sure what its called though.

I think that would be a pretty cool experience. I have lived in a haunted house before also and actually it creeped me out a whole lot because i wasnt used to it but after a while i talked to the spirit because it was my grandpa and I just told him to stop scaring me and things like that and believe it or not it worked!!! If you really are scared and dont want to deal with it then move but maybe if you just let it know that you dont want to be scared anymore it will leave. A spirit cant hurt you maybe you should do some research and see who lived there before you and things like that. It might be really interesting!!!

Definitely don't leave! If your house has any spirits, they aren't there to hurt you. They're still there because they need help and they're just trying to make their presence known to you in the only ways they can. (Animals can sense spirits much better than we can -- that's why your pets are acting different. They KNOW a spirit is there!)
Try to talk to them and see if you can be the one that helps them with their unfinished business. Just say hello to them and ask them how you can help.
A great way to hear them is via white noise (Not like in the movie, which was bogus)......Leave a tape recorder running during a time when you're either sleeping or not at home, then listen to the playback --- you just might hear them speaking to you then.
The main thing to remember is that there's absolutely no reason to be afraid of any spirit in your house. Your walls aren't going to start bleeding and your house isn't going to eat you or anything dramatic like that (don't believe everything you see in movies!)

I would move out - pronto. These things are not to be taken lightly and I don't believe the paranormal investigators help. The activity may calm down for a while only to start again. There may indeed, be people who are interested in houses like that but if you are not one of them - go!

You should tell them to leave.
If your dogs and cats are having problems with them too then they could do more than just turning the tv off and on.

Stay until the walls start bleeding or the house tells you to get out. If the animals are still there, you're ok.

Depends on the nature of the ghosts. If they're not scaring you or keeping you up, you should stay. They can actually add to the property value.
