How long after a "good rain" should you wait before dragging a baseball infield?

Our field needs dragged badly, as it has been sitting all summer/fall without being played on. We've had rain the past day or so, and it ended early this morning. How long should I wait before dragging it?

Drag it when you can pick up a hand full of dirt and crumble it in your fingers. It should be moist, but not muddy.

That is not an easy question to answer.
If it is sunny and 75 degrees with a good wind - you could drag it in about 12 hours.
