how old is he again??? if hes past the age of 6 well then thats just sadd

Firstly, age matters and he is a grown up person, you are his friend and you should know how to handle him. When next you are eating again and he repeat that habit, tell him that does he know the dirty that is hiding in his nose, and does he know that one of the dirty can fly into his burger that he is eating which may be harmful to him. If he is upset with what you this, leave him alone until the day his girlfriend will accuse him of bad habit and dirtyness.

Say: "Dude, do you know what boogers are? They're dirt and gunk your nose filters out of the air you breathe so that it won't go into and contaminate your body. Why are you EATING them!?! It's like you're working against yourself!"

try to watch a movie where somebody is poking their nose (watch it with him) and then exaggerate and say how gross that is when people poke their nose and specially when they it their boogers and maybe he will get the hint. or just mention that you saw somebody doing it on the street or something

Well if he is your friend you can tell him, he shouldnt be offened, its just picking his nose, not something major. So i would tell him.
