This kid worked on a project w/ my friend and told the entire class that they had fun emailing each other the previous nite. He luvs to tease her. He gave her a cd w/ incubus-stellar, and anothergirl,anotherplanet etc... He said i luv u to her several times. he always wanted to have staring contests w/ her. he messed her hair... poked her in the ribs. his friend told her that he likes her.. but she didnt want to believe it. they were both seniors in high school when this happened. do u think he didnt want to get in a relationship w/ her b/c they were going away from college? also, he was a hot jock and she was not too hot but had a wonderful personality. most ppl say it was just a joke... he didnt do this to any other girls. and yes, my friend did like him.. what do u all think?

=sounds like there was a lot of teasing and flirting going on between the two but at this young age that is to be expected. Let them go off to college and if they remain friends, who knows what will happen in the future. The important thing here is that they enjoyed one another company while it lasted.

I think your girl friend needs to read "The Road Not Taken" by Robert Frost. Hopefully she still keeps in touch with him and makes the effort to go on a few dates with him to see if there is something potential for them in their future .... otherwise, she will always wonder... "what if...?"
