Don't scratch..apply some aloe vera gel and once it has cooled down, cut a piece of tomato (if the tomato is in the fridge its better) and rub all over the sunburn. This helps reduce the tan and also cools down the skin.

Good Luck!

Personally?? I peel it. haha.
It's bad to do though. It causes you to scar. I've got a few sunburn scars on me. One is on my left shoulder and it's pretty big.

You need to get some ALOE VERA. Go to the store and buy some. Heck, you can even get some at the Dollar Store.
It should help with the itching and add moisture to it to.

Take a cool shower, pat yourself dry and use aloe vera(it feels best if you keep it in the fridge and apply it with a saturated cotton ball). Don't itch and wear super soft clothing that will not irritate the burned areas. Oh,and try to use more sunscreen(or some) next time as each burn increases your chances of skin cancer and a more severe burn. Take care of yourself as you are the only one who can. Happy Healing!

Immediately apply one or both - a .5% or 1% hydrocortisone cream and some pure aloe (sometimes you can find hydrocortisone w/aloe, so that helps). You can also try taking a benadryl. Keep the area well moisturized to prevent peeling. Good luck to you!!

Try putting some lotion or moisturizer on your sunburn to help the skin cool down and just don't scratch it. Your skin is damaged enough.

Put lotion on it to stop it from peeling. In the end, it doesn't really work so have a good scratch and have fun peeling the big layers of skin off your shoulders.

Put aloe on it and do not scratch it. If it does not begin to get better in a few days call your doctor.
