What can I do to fix it? Thanks. Also, its very frequent and on the left side.

Scratch that... my whole screen is doing it, but it's more sever on the left.

Crap... I think there was a magnet near the laptop... if I took it away should I restart it now?

well is your laptop near any magnet force, like a tv cordless telephone, mobile phone etc.. if its not near any of these looks like your screen is ready to die, and there is not much can be done about this.
u would need to take it to a pc shop for possible screen replacement.

It would have to be a pretty powerful magnet or be taped to the screen for any severe damage to be done. Also, magnets don't cause flickering. They cause discolored spots. If it was a magnet, then the screen will need to be replaced. The damage done by them is on the hardware level and is permanent most of the time. But unless you have a huge magnetic force very close by, I doubt that's the cause.

Try plugging your laptop in to an external monitor and see if the flicker is on that monitor too. If so, then it's an issue with your video card or something internal in the laptop. If not, then it's your screen only. Either way you'll need to take it in for repair. There's nothing you can do yourself to fix it.

Your laptop is probably dying so buy a new one. It would be more expensive to just replace the screen itself.

you video card's driver is give to you when you buy it .setup you video card's driver.if not this problem .change the laptop's screen's set. change frequency .
