Use a water mist from a sprayer or steam to 'relax' the edges of your blanket and then dry it slowly. The tips given so far are pretty good for blocking your work.

However, if it STILL curls after you block it, you should knit or crochet two or three rows of on the sides that are curling. This will permamently fix the problem.

Blocking and edging your flat projects will always make them look better!

Lay a clean towel on your table. Place curled edge on towel and cover with a clean, damp towel (wet towel and wring it out works best). MAKE SURE EDGES ARE STRAIGHT AND FLAT. Iron top towel till dry. Uncover blanket and check to make sure it is exactly as you want it--minor adjustments can be made. Let blanket sit till completely dry. That should take care of things for you. Happy knitting!

You have to 'block' it. You can do this by laying the blanket on the ironing board and making sure the edges are flat. Use a pressing cloth or towel that has been wet and wrung out and press all edges. Let this dry flat and it should be good.
