Well..that's a hard question because it really depends on your preference. However, having said that, I'd have to say that as a whole, musically and technically, GNR is a better band. They all can play their instruments tremendously well (or could LOL I can't vouche for today). In Motley Crue, Tommy Lee was definitely the best member of the band and could really play the drums well. But again, if you like one or the other, you might feel differently. Which is cool ;) To each his own!
