In my opinion the top 10 are:

Rump Shaker - Wreckx-N-Effect
Insane in the Brain-Cypress Hill
California Love - 2 pac
What's My Name- Snoop
I Get Around-2pac
time time for some action - Redman and Method Man
Player's Anthem- Biggie
Big Poppa -Biggie
The Low End Theory --A tribe called quest
Regulate--Warren G

So many others, this is just of my head, back in the late 80's and all the way until the late 99's Hip Hop was so much better and more creative. Listen to some of the crap that JAy Z puts out these days, you can not even compare it to his early stuff and Puffy was good when Biggy was around, but after that, the quality of his beat is really mediocre at best

Dr Dre and Snoop have been around for ages, might be worth checking out some old hits from them, i.e. from the "Chronic" and "Doggystyle"
