As I browse these pages, I'll come across answers I find particularly interesting, provocatively well written, or just too darn funny, etc. I find myself clicking on their avatar and browsing through their answers on other subjects, or examaining the kinds of questions they ask. I know I'm just following the whim of curiosity, yet I feel somewhat naughty, as though I'm spying!

I think most of us do it...particularly everyone who will answer a question like this one. It's fun to pick other people's brains and try to figure them out...to see the patterns...to wonder about who they really are behind the avatars.
I think stalking is probably not the right word for it.
Everyone here is a little bit voyeur and a little bit exhibitionist.

I think what it does is , it brings out the voyeur in you, hence you feel naughty or feel like you are stalking. I dont think it qualifies as stalking, but it's just a sense of curiosity we all have inside us, to want to see. And since it is in the public domain, and some ppl do lie about their profiles or embelish, it's not a line where you are crossing into their private life. So i think what you are doing is normal.

You're a naughty, naughty girl and should be spanked! ;-) Really, that stuff is posted so you CAN look at it. You araen't snooping in anyone's medicine cabinet. This is public information. The real question is, how do you feel about others rummaging through YOUR intimate, personal Q&A's, hmmmmmm? You naughty girl, showing your stuff for the whole world to see? Bet it turns you on a little! Scandalous!

I think that is why they are there. I do not like looking at other people's stuff but when it comes to this Yahoo stuff it does not matter because everything is anonymous anyway. I sometimes do the same thing especially if I get a jerky comment or an interesting one.

lol I wouldn't worry about it. You're not a stalker in the least bit. As long as the information is open to the public, and you're not looking up anyone in particular obsessively, you're good to go.

Of course you are an intellectual stalker. No harm in that. And all that about feeling naughty, well now, do you like feeling naughty?
