Since the earth is about 4.5 billion years old, and mankind has been here for at best a million of those years, your question makes no sense.

Hard to say. Many comets crashed onn earth in its early beginnings since there was no atmosphere to stop them.
Another large asteroid the size of mars crshed into the earth and creater the moon from part of the earth's mantle at about the same time the first oceans formed. The next large asteroid crashed to earth at the end of the Paleozoic Era (before the Mesozoic Era of the dinosaurs) creating a mass extinction.

The most recent asteroid was the one that killed the dinosaurs 65 million years ago.

These are of course major events and there are many more less-deadly asteroids that crashed to earth Every day, millions of asteroids pass into the atmosphere, and some do make it through. The number of asteroids that have fallen to earth canot be counted

A comet is frozen water and would break apart before it hits the earth. An asteroid would destroy all life as we know it. Probably the last one that hit caused the last ice age. Earth has been hit millions of times by meteors though. Some were close to planet killers.

Many comets around the earth periodically, even many indoors the subsequent 10 years. yet none of them will conflict the earth, if it somewhat is your question. Comets are somewhat no longer suitable to international warming. in undemanding words some outcomes of international warming and climate replace are agreed by ability of all scientist: temperature of the oceans will improve between 3 and four.5 tiers centigrades, a minimum of. Ice will disappear from specific areas (i.e. artic) and would desire to chop back as much as 50% (a minimum of) indoors the something of the international. there is not any computing device and style indoors the international to appreciate outcomes of those information. different than that deserts, hurricanes, rains, and so on. could be plenty extra suitable, tougher and larger properly-customary. extensive style and intensity of catastrophes like what all and sundry have began to confirm and learn are unknown.

Most likely daily. Because rocks of numerous sizes enter the earth's atmosphere and burn up. Little fragments usually find their way to earth. The last humongous asteriod hit was in Arizona I think. But they're not called asteroids once they hit earth..they're called meteors. And several have made their name in history. One crashed through a roof and hit a woman on the hip. Another landed on a dog. The woman was okay, I'm not so sure about the dog....

Hundreds of times that we know about, see the web site below. Therefore, allowing in addition for (1) impacts in the ocean, and (2) craters which were later covered over by sedimentary deposits or volcanic lava flows, we have probably been hit over a thousand times worth talking about.

its hard to tell because of weathering effects presnt on earth. had earth been weather or more appropriately atmosphereless like moon we would have been then able to count the number of hits earth has dealth with from heavenly bodies. majority of hits are not seen because water coverd them up and the ones on land wethered away with seasons! hope this helps!
