Yes ALL Gamecube titles are back compatable on the WII

If you open the 2 slots on the top of your wii console you will see slots for 4 gamecube pads and 2 gamecube memory cards, esentially turning your wii into a gamecube as well!!

i havent played any gc games on my wii as yet, so couldnt tell you if you can controll them with wii controllers or if you need a gc pad sorry,,,

as for 3rd party!! if your asking WHAT THEY ARE, then they are titles made for the wii by games companys other than Nintendo!!

if your asking What The Titles Are
all tat i know of are

need for speed carbon
happy feet
marvel allience
madden nfl

even these may be wrong,, or right, but they are def titles of the wii anyhow,,,,

though you must get zelda if you havent already,,, must must must must must

ok,, hope this helped

You can use ALL GameCube games on the Wii, though if you wish to take Phantasy Star Online on the net, you will still need to do this via the GameCube, (the same goes for the GameBoy Player).

As for third party games, this means games that are not designed in-house by Nintendo, such as Rayman, also, downloadable games from the WiiShop such as Sonic The Hedgehog, Ecco The Dolphin, and Bomberman '93, (PC Version).

Keep in mind that new games are being added almost every Friday to the online list, are officially licensed for download, and will cost no more than around £7 of points to download and play, (even if you delete them, you can download them again for free later, though they are locked into your systems WiiCode number).

If you download any of the games, be sure to note if a WiiClassic Controller is needed, which can be purchased for around £15, WiiPoints can be purchased for around £7 per 1000 from the WiiShop, or £15 for 2000 from your local games retailer.

yes the wii is backwards compatible (it plays gamecube games)

i don't think you know this but a third party game is just a game that the originating company did not make so like anything not made from nintenodo would beconsidered third party

ex. NEed for speed, call of duty 3, and trauma center
