You can lose it a few weeks before labor ever sets in. Theres no way of knowing.

Its uncommon to lose it over the course of a few days. Over the course of a few hours maybe... but days... not really. According to my doctors anyway.

Did it have blood in it like a mucus plug ought?

I'd go in and get checked, they can tell alot more based on if your effaced and dialated.

:)

36 weeks is considered full term. Babies born after 36 weeks are completely viable without any real risk of long term health problems, in most cases if you went into labor now, it would be considered a normal delivery of a healthy baby. Although testing after birth would confrim how ready your baby was.

I'd call and get checked, just to see whats going on.

Yes this is a sign that you ar ein labour. I lost my mucus plug three days before I gave birth and I had slight contractions. I went to the hospital got checked out and then was sent home with two opions. Not to go back to the hospital until my water broke OR my contractions were 5 minutes apart. well my water broke first and then instantly the contractions were very close together. The hosiptal is 10 mins from my house and by the time I was already 3 centimeters

Good luck and all the best to you and your family through this season

It varies for everyone. Starting at 34 weeks I started loosing my plug in pieces every day and didnt go into labor until almost 39 weeks.

I'm not sure it really matters. I lost mine early and ended up having to be induced weeks later. I think it's different every pregnancy. You can ask your doctor if you are worried. I don't think it has to mean labor is coming soon.

YES. THAT'S YOUR FIRST SIGN OF GETTING READY TO GIVE BIRTH. IF I WERE YOU I WOULD GO SEE YOUR OBGYN TO SEE IF YOU HAVE STARTED TO DILATE. THEY WILL BE ABLE TO HELP YOU WITH YOUR CONCERNS. HAVE A HEALTHY BABY.......
