I'm a moderate. I hope my children will get past those labels that are black and white. There is no gray area. The media keeps pushing these liberal v. conservatives mentality and also politicians. Most people here are part of the problem and they don't even realize that their representatives are pinning them against each other.

The far right and far left have cleverly created a pendulum effect in American politics. They are happy to share the power and benefits of said power when it swings their way. Only 15% of Americans label themselves far right or far left. That leaves 85% of us without representation. That is un-American.
Fight to unite and vote for moderates whether they be Democrat or Republican. Stop the gridlock and let's get busy being the most powerful nation the world has ever known.

I felt I had to register with one party or the other as to do otherwise would not allow me to vote in the primaries. Other than that...I claim zero affiliation with either bias. Both sides are full of feces, and both sides have brilliantly inspired ideas. I try very hard to cut through the garbage and take away only that which seems to have real merit.
I agree, this partisan fighting serves one purpose. To keep the masses busy whilst the career politicians line their pockets. Ridiculous waste of energy....

Well, you may have a point. However, do you notice that every time Hillary Clinton refers to "her party" and "her country" that she always places 'her party' before the country in every public speech?
What's most important, a political party or the country?
