I don't think this is anything to worry about. Your body is just getting used to the different hormone levels that the pill has induced.
Give your GP a call in after Christmas and they will put your mind at rest.

It is common to have light periods while on the pill and at this stage as you have only just started taking it there is nothing to worry about being on for 2 weeks, you may find you will be irregular and may go of for a few days and come back on. I used the pill for 15 years. If you are still having problems after being on the pill for 3 months then you need to see your doctor as the perticular one you are on may not suit you. Your doctor should help you to find one to suit you, All the best and Merry Christmas

The pill makes your body go a bit loopy for the first few months, but after that it's great because you know exactly when you will start your period, I know I will start on a wednesday, between 4 and 7 pm, fantastic!
Don't worry about a thing, they will get normal soon.

I would wait and see or call your doctor and find out. I don't think its normal because when i was on the pill my period didn't last that long. even when i started on it. but each women is different. so the best advice i can give you is to ask your doctor.

This happened to me, too. My doctor said that alot of women have this breakthrough bleeding at first, and may have it for the first few months. For me, it stopped after the first full month of taking the pill. Everything has been normal since.

no its no longer an analogous. the traditional pill is basically powerful after the 1st 7 days of takin it and needs to been taken regular (apartfrom on week smash) morning after is a a million off which will avert fertilisation/implantation.

Longer periods are a common side effect, but heavier periods are rare.
Sorry, just noticed you said 2 weeks. That is quite long. If it lasts another few days, i'd go see your GP.

No the pill should keep it shorter. You definitely need to seek the advice of a doctor to find out what is wrong.
