The homeless in Vegas get a better meal at the shelters. Pretty much what your big family dinner is like.
Many of them have chosen their lifestyle.
We had one here that helped lift a car off a small girl after an accident. Somebody sent him money which he stated he would use to travel home for Christmas, but would return to the streets after.

The meaning of Xmas has nothing to do with the homeless or people who beg. The meaning of Xmas is individual and can either be religious and the birth of Jesus, or can be more commercialized and the gifts of Santa.
For those who are homeless the shelters and charities reach out and find ways to give a little extra of turkey rather than goulash, etc.
But in the hearts of those who are homeless or who chose to beg, the meaning is individual and has nothing to do with circumstance of life status.

Why don't you go to a homeless shelter or soup kitchen and ask them yourself? Better yet, why don't you volunteer your time on Christmas to help out at those places or donate some money and food to help them?
Why are you asking people on the Internet what the meaning of Christmas is to beggars and homeless? Last time I checked, not many beggars and homeless people had Internet access.

I don't know. The first guy has a good point. I would think its a warm place to sleep and a meal. Probably have someone be nice to them. I am a sucker, I always give homeless people money.

Its christmas not xmas and you cannot help those who chose not to accept the help. There are plenty of programs available for homeless and since they chose that life style of not working and getting handouts, those who are not mental incapable of doing so,then I have no sympathy for them.
