Scroll to the bottom of the page listed below and it says about it being sung by some Swedish person(s). I thought it must be a cover for Kelly Clarkson too, cos they aren't allowed an original song, are they?

Kelly was not the first person to sing it and she did not write it. She can copy the song because it was for "idol". I know she did not write it because it was on the "Sandals" commeical way before Idol was even on. I think it is sung by Billy Vera and the Beaters.
