The other day I was wondering, would the world stop if time stopped? Or, would we keep going and not get older, or would we freeze in place? Would the sun keep rising or setting?

My teacher told me that he didn't know the answer, but it was one something that began w/ a p. I think it's one of those. Do you know which it is?

Time is a concept relative to our need to mark sequential behavior as points of reference. The world turns on its axis completing this x amount of times as it goes around the sun. If this were to stop it could mean that a new point of reference is available such as that when an angel visits you and does many things in a single moment and when he leaves time starts again to relate to the earthly move through space. It is psychological behavior asking philosophical questions.
