http://www.marvistavet.com/html/body_toxoplasmosis.html

"There are two basic forms of Toxoplasma organism: the "oocyst," which is shed in the cat feces, and the Toxoplasma tissue stages, which live in the flesh of such food animals as hogs and lambs. A person who inadvertently eats either of these forms of Toxoplasma is liable to become infected...."

I haven't found any information about Rabbits possibly carry this disease but yes to be safe, let your husband clean it out or wear gloves and wash hands throughly.

its a urban legend. pregnant women should stay away from cat litter boxes because of the waste cats leave, there is something in it that can harm your pregnant wife and baby. having cats in the house while she is pregnant is fine, but she can not clean the cat boxes once soo ever! i have 3 cats and i am pregnant.. have had them with two pregnancy's.. nothing happened to the baby after he was born.

Listen dear, anytime that you can delegate a job to your husband and get away with it DO IT! Just to be on the safe side I would tell him that running a vacuum sweeper is bad for the baby! LOL....

i believe its the actual litter itself that you shouldnt be around, so if the litter is the same for cats and rabbits, then make your husband change it

It should be safe - rabbits usually don't carry toxoplasmosis and if they do they do not shed it. Cats do. It's not the liter - it's the feces in it.
