Ah how soon we forget! Check the voting record of your Democrap rep and senator. It was a unanimous (that means everyone voted the same) vote to go to war with Iraq. And read a newspaper or watch the news (both tend to be VERY liberal), we are not losing!
Get over yourself! People die in war! What? Are you one of the, "I-am-too-scared-to-join-the-military" Democraps and so you're not out there fighting with the people who ARE willing to die for YOUR LIBERTIES?

LBJ was a Democrat and he was that one who got us into Vietnam. Although, many liberal Democrats were against Vietnam war while the "crewcuts" or conservatives still supported the war. So, LBJ got us into the war but he had the support of mos conservatives. Liberals were the ones protesting and buring their draft cards. This is what brought on the hippie era.

i really believe conservatives not basically see each and every thing in black and white, yet are locked into those extremes without end. So at the same time as they take a position---for the conflict, or for Bush---they are going to proceed to espouse that opinion because it would damage their ego and vanity to confess they made a mistake. i believe this extends to the coolest purchase of their lives, not basically politics. "Yep, gonna proceed tochronic this avert because it became made in u . s . of america besides the actual undeniable truth that that's interior the restore keep more desirable than in my storage. can not be paying for one among those imports and sending my funds overseas places." i believe that between the hallmarks of intelligence is the potential to confess a mistake and regulate route. The wisest guy I ever knew reported, "you're making a call with the perfect information you've on the time. once you're privileged to make yet another determination on an same problem later, you're making that 2d determination with what you recognize at that later time. you do not 2d-wager the first determination with what you realized down the line." i'd be naive, yet i imagine 1000's of thousands of human beings would welcome a President or any flesh presser who admitted a mistake and defined why he or she became moving into a distinct route. regrettably, lately, we seem to respect intransigence, stubbornness, and hubris. and individuals die unnecessarily thereby.

ummm hate to educate you but the Liberal Hippies made it politically impossible for our country to do what was necessary to win in Vietnam. We could have won and that's an easy assumption. John Kerry's dramatization of what really was going on there lead people to believe our brave soldiers were pot headed butcher's. He is pathetic. Now his far left agenda is attempting the same thing in Iraq though it be not as aggressive. What an American piece garbage he is.
THOSE WHOM DO NOT LEARN FROM THE PAST ARE CONDEMNED TO REPEAT IT.
LEARN AND FIGHT TO UNITE.

You uneducated Lib, Kennedy and LBJ started Vietnam. Another fact I am sure you do not realize. The war making powers lie with Congress, it just so happens that throughout the entire Vietnam war the Congress was Democratic.

VietNam was fought to a military stalemate pinhead. And history shows it to have been a diplomatic success. Of course, that doesn't serve your feeble attempts to pick a fight behind the barrier of anonymity of Mom & Dad's computer, does it?
As far as losing the war in Iraq is concerned, we actually did finish what we set out to do you dimwit. That was to remove Saddam Hussein. The further action is to make sure you can continue to try to annoy people with your ignorant political bias and posting your hatred without actually having to have done anything for that freedom. There...feel better Troll? It must suck bad to be like you.

One last thing. I am NOT one of those "Neocons", that word you guys love to throw around as some sort of insult. I am a registered Democrat, one who had balls enough to volunteer to serve his country, one who is man enough to stand up for my homeland and one who has the good sense of smell to detect a b*llsh*t artist like you, a mile away.

Excuse me, it wasn't conservatives marching in the streets during Nam demanding we pull our troops out. It wasn't conservatives calling for a cut and run policy in Iraq during the last election cycle. Kerry, Murtha and Durbin are not conservatives. It is liberal jackasses that want to run away from the enemy so they can kill even more innocent people.
Starting with Nam, liberals have so much blood on their hands I doubt if they could find them.

So, you probably need a refresher course on the Vietnam War. I'll give you a push in the right direction:
JFK got us into it
LBJ got us stuck
Nixon got us out.
