Hello!
Just a couple of weeks ago, one of my letters was not working! It was explained to me to just take my keyboard apart and wipe it down with lighter fluid! I took the phillips screws out of the back and took it apart. There's a plastic material that's like packing bubbles, and also a board! I just wiped it with a terry towel with some lighter fluid on it, and put it all back together again. Just be careful and remember how you took it apart and put it back the same way! It's not that tough! Liquids are a NO-NO around my computer- The minute I'd set down a cup of hot coffee, or a soda, my elbow or my dog would do a real quick mess out job on my keyboard. Don't drop the tiny phillips screws so you lose them! It will take 10 or 15 minutes and you'll be back in business! Good luck!

There is a way to open it, but I don't know how. If you've already tried to clean it with a wet paper towel with a slight touch of soap (then use another wet paper with no soap to finish), then I suggest going to your local computer retailer and asking them to open it and clean it. If you can't do that, then send it back to the manufacturer and ask them for touchpad servicing (it might be a bit pricy though....) Hope that helps.

Open top cover then dry the liquid. USE ANOTHER PC to download the service repair manual (very big pdf file) from manufacturers's web sites, and follow the instructions.
