I was at a really dark unhappy place in my life 3 years ago. My husband of 17 years had his first love come back into his life and try to play the "what if" game with him. I remember lying in bed one night watching mtv and Evanescence"s song Wake me up Inside came on. The phrase "Save me from the nothing I've become" really struck a chord with me !!! No kidding it was as if my whole attitude changed! I finally woke up and realized that only I could do that for myself. I couldn't let my husbands decision to stay or go determine my happiness.
He asked to stay, by the way!!
When music has the power to influence a person so profoundly?
AMAZING!! Being a singer myself I can appreciate the power of Amy's voice. The sound they have is powerful and beautiful.

Amy Lee does have a great voice, but I hate the lyrics to most of thier songs.
