You get rid of it by keeping your expectations low ; and remembering , it's better to give than receive . Focus on the real meaning of Christmas , and why we celebrate .Then you'll have no room for the "poor-me's" .

I mostly get anxious, with mild depression, I do take medication which helps, but what I find helps is to take a drive by myself and go and look at some Christmas lights, Put some good Christmas music and the drive seems to get me more in the Spirit of things. Try watching "It a wonderful life" that also helps but things in perspective for me

No, but I get a little depressed at New Year's
because I'd miss all the great things that happened the year before. Remembering those times makes me happier and then I'd just chill.

Yeah i do, not sure why, guess i kinda never had a festive season to remember and it makes me feel upset that some people get to have their grand celebrations granted and when all i want is something small to make my day it never happens.
I just pretend its just another day i suppose.

Yes. I'll watch “Home Alone”. It’s like a sacred tradition. Christmas and the “Home Alone”. Or worse, Grinch.

Give gifts. Studies show that giving gifts releases a hormone in your body that makes you happier. It actually makes you happier to give then to recieve believe it or not. Happy Holidays.
