All day yesterday I had an eyelash in my eye. I get home, find out that it is in the far corner on my eye, not on the other corner where you find sleep and all that other junk. I try to get it out, but no luck. I use eyedrops but nothing happens. I submerge my eye in water, nothing happens. I try getting it out with my finger, and nothing happens. My eye is swollen as I speak and is extremely red (almost purple) and i do not know why. Was it because I was messing with my eye! I need help, I am very worried.

This happens to me often. I use a Q-Tip (wet the tip) and a magnifing mirror. Then I follow with eye drops.

See a doctor.

I have had lashes in my eye so frequently that I am good at getting them out quickly. You will get better at it & without causing problems in the eye. Until then, make sure that your current situation is OK. Seek medical attention.

Try this trick. Fold a paper towel twice or three times, and use the corner. Go in the mirror, and with the napkin CORNER, put it on the eyelash and it should come out.
