You or your family would not have a choice in the matter. If the coroner or medical examiner orders an autopsy, no one can overrule their decision and you will be autopsied regardless of personal or religious beliefs. The law is the law, regardless of any objections. It is their job to seek and understand the truth.

I don't really think it matters if your dead, but really I don't think it's about you anymore if the police think it was a murder, I would want justice and I would want the person to be caught so that they could not kill again. Plus it bring closure for your family members that were still alive

I'm a body donor. When I die they will cut me up, use what they can, and burn the rest. No viewing, no funeral, no burial, no expense, kids get the insurance, no worries.Who is gonna come and visit your grave site 200 years from now anyway.

well if i objected to it being done myself then i would have to disagree with the whole practice to avoid being hypocritical. But i don't, i think it helps catch people that have commited serious crimes. So if it did happen to me, then yeah, do what you need to find the killer.

I would if I had family who missed me and needed closure. Being a single man with no g/f, I guess I don't give a crap.

You mean "suspected" not "expected" didn't you? I mean if they expected murder, you would still be alive to be murdered.
