I did this about 5 years ago and they gave me 100 dollars per day and chesse and bolo sandwhichs to eat. Blue or red coolaid?

That not a bad idea, it save you money and you have a place to stay. I not sure how good the food would be. Your only problem, they may not let you stay and just give you community service. Sometimes it just picking up trash or cleaning out vines from a city fence. The amount of service depends on the amount your owe, I guess. I will assume they pay so much per day of work, toward paying off the fine. Say, $30 for everyday you work. I just guessing here. Talk with the Judge and they will work it out.

I suggest you challenge the ticket. You will be asked to present your case. In Texas there is a shortage of traffic cops so chances are the cop gave you the ticket may to be able to be present on that date. In that case the charges against will be dropped.

You will eventually have to take care of the traffic tickets, so the sooner the fewer fines and less trouble.
