I used to be. I'm getting less and less afraid as I get older. I realize that it's inevitable.

At present, I am frightened by the prospect of my parents dying. They are starting to get older and not in the best of health. I would give anything to make them healthy again. It's horrible always wondering how long they have left. It's even harder because they are on the other side of the world and we haven't had a Christmas together since 2000 before they got sick.

For the time being, no. Rather than the actual 'dying', I'm afraid of what might happen to the people who depend on me (there are no one right now, thankfully). But I guess I'm kinda queasy about the moment just before dying. After you die you .... don't know.

I'm probably more afraid of not dying.
Don't get me wrong, I love life. But amidst the many joys of living, there will always be pain.
The day pain is washed from my heart and into a sea of forgetfullness is the day I will know true happiness.
One day I will step out of this world, and into eternity......it is there where I will live an undying, and unforsaking love in the light of his majesty.

NO.

Death for me will be a recounting of past events---telling a story---about the passage of time, and convey any hidden or secret meaning in my Thematic obsession: characters as catalyst, crisis, drama, desperation, frailty, human character that led to Faith despite my changing moods.

I am not afraid to die. I have trusted my life to the One who created me and gave His life for me. Not only that, He arose from the grave and gave me eternal life.

Hell no. I'm afraid of living to be 100 years old. I'm afraid of becoming a bitter, lonely, diabetic, obese, toothless bachelor on pension. I am NOT afraid of death one bit.

NO. I trust the Lord Jesus Christ and my time on earth is a tiny matter in comparison to heaven and eternity hereafter. I call it the peace that surpasses all understanding.
