I feel like I don't deserve to have money spent on me, I don't deserve to eat and I feel guilty when I spend money or eat. I feel that I don't deserve the best guy for me, that someone else deserves him more than me. I feel that I don't deserve to have people want to be my friend or love/care about me. What's wrong with me? How do I get over these constant feelings?

I never go out because I hate the way I look. I feel worthless and I feel like people should look over me.

You are suffering depession and low self-esteem. You need find a therapist to talk to and get medication. Most importantly you need to pray and remember that God loves you. This is very important because you can have the best therapist but if you don't have Jesus it is hopeless. You are loved!!!

Just start by loving yourself and everyone around you. You definitely deserve it. I mean look at all these people replying to your question. You are a great person. You have plenty of friends that love and care about you. Let them love and care about you and maybe it will help teach you to love yourself. Do not feel guilty when you eat and money is spent on you... everyone especially good innocent people like you deserve food and friends. Let people pamper you and pamper yourself. Take a day off and go to the spa with your freinds without worrying about the money and just enjoy yourself. Go get a cup of coffee with a cute guy and let him buy it for you and instead of feeling guilty just enjoy the time you spend with him. This is also probably a type of depression and if I were you I would see a doctor soon, before it gets any worse. Good luck! :-)

despite the fact that every human being underestimate themselve, I know exactly the reason why you feel like this -- you're a bit lazy -- the good sign is you feel guilty about it while most people just don't care and not even think about it. you can overcome it by doing some extra work and contibute to help others and don't ever postpone anything. the real happiness lie down in achieving and accomplishing things and vice versa, having got a lot to do keeps you worried and anxious simply because you have got a list of commitments need to be done.

What you're dealing with here is acute depression. I suggest you seek counseling before it gets even worse...
